TWINKLE STAR SHOWCASE 2026 - storybook!

Celebrate your dancer’s achievements in class and watch them on stage at Showtime-Storybook! Showtime! gives Twinkle Babies and Twinkle Stars the chance to show their friends and families all that they have learned with a performance at the end of the dance season. Our theme this year is Storybook.
Details: Storybook takes place in the amphitheater in front of the Bankhead Theater in Livermore, "Picnic Style". Bring your own blanket/lawn chairs and enjoy the outdoor performance.

Q. Where is the performance being held?
A. Our Performances are being held in front of the Bankhead Theater located at 2400 First Street in Livermore.
Q. Is there a minimum number of tickets I must purchase? A maximum number of tickets I can purchase?
A. Every dancer must purchase one pass, either a $69 pass for 4 guests or a $99 pass for unlimited guests. Prices subject to change.
Q. Does my dancer need a ticket? A. Yes. Storybook dancers will sit with you until we line them up for their performance. They will return to you immediately after they perform. Please include your dancer in your number of guests.
Q. Can you help me order my tickets?
A. Yes, I can help you order tickets over the phone, or you can come into the studio.
Q. Do siblings need a ticket?
A. If they are over 2 years old, yes, they will count in your number of guests. Children under the age of 2 do not need to be included in your guest count.
Q. If I purchase my tickets in person can I avoid the ticket service fee?
A. No. This fee will be included whether you purchase online, by phone, in person, or at the theater box office. These are set by the ticketing software company, and we use the company with the most affordable option out of companies that can handle our number of orders.
Q. If my Dancer and their Dad are performing in the Daddy Daughter Dance, which show will they be in.
A. The Daddy Daughter Dance is performed in the same Storybook show as your class is performing in. Your class performance will be first and the Daddy Daughter Dance will be the last dance of the show.
Q. If Dad is participating in the Daddy Daughter dance can he get a dancer ticket?
A. Sorry Dads, no, you need to purchase a regular ticket.
Q. Will Dancers and/or Audience members be required to wear masks?
A. We will follow whatever the county mandate is at the time.
Q. Do I need to reserve a specific area if my party needs accessible seating?
A. No, we will be able to accommodate you on the day of the performance.

• We will hold an in-class dress rehearsal the week prior to your performance.

• Each dancer receives a high-quality costume specific to your dance.

• Participation fee of only $99 for our Twinkle Babies and Twinkle Stars.
• The only additional cost for the performance are audience member tickets. Tickets go on sale (date pending).
• Dancers must be enrolled for the full month of June in order to participate in the performance.
ACTION PHOTOS + VIDEOS
TDA provides free HD videos and action photos of our performances! We hope you will leave the camera in your bag and enjoy the performance. If you do decide to take a picture, please do not hold a smartphone or tablet over your head and disable your flash. Be courteous to your theater neighbors.
As a courtesy to the dancers and everyone else in the theater, we do NOT permit video of any performance. Violators will be removed from the audience.
