The TDA Performing Company also serves as a guide for older dancers on their path to a professional career or college. Tiffany Henderson / Livermore, California
Tiffany has had an exciting career as a professional Jazz Dancer. In 1992 she was awarded a one-year scholarship to the renowned Tremaine Dance Center in Hollywood and performed as the Tremaine Scholarship Show Featured Dancer. Continuing her professional studies at School of Dance at the University of Arizona, she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.F.A. in Dance. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Masters of Applied Positive Psychology this Spring 2025! Tiffany’s career highlights include performances with Quinn/Williams Jazz at the Jazz Dance World Congress in Nagoya, Japan; the Jazz World Congress at Washington’s Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts; the opening of the International Theatre School in Amsterdam, Holland and at Symphony Hall in Phoenix, Arizona. She was also a member of Zohar Dance Company performing at the Microsoft Global Summit and American Greeting Cards, and was a soloist with La JAZDANZ of Louisiana.
Cesar Degollado / Livermore, California
A native of Mexico, his dance career began in Texas spending three seasons with Ballet El Paso. He was part of the University of Arizona’s School of Dance performing there for 18 years. He performed with Ballet Tucson as a principal and soloist dancer for sixteen seasons. He shared the role of Ballet Master and Régisseure with Ballet Tucson. César’s choreography is nationally and internationally recognized and has been performed by Ballet Tucson, The UA School of Dance, DanceCenter in Stockholm, Sweden; Ballet Neo-Clásico in Mexico City; Suto Dance, and Megia/Kinst Dance Theatre. His training has led students to be part of professional dance companies such as San Francisco Ballet, Houston Ballet, American Ballet Theater, Dutch National Ballet, Statni Opera Prague, Hubbard Street Dance, among others. César is currently a faculty at Tiffany’s Dance Academy where he’s the Director of their Ballet School and Professional Division Program.
JACK HENDERSON / Livermore, California
Jack grew up in Livermore, California where he began dancing at Tiffany’s Dance Academy. He attended summer intensives and workshops during this time, including San Francisco Ballet, Dutch National Ballet, and Hubbard Street intensives. In 2017, he moved to Vancouver, BC, to attend Arts Umbrella’s pre-graduate program under the direction of Artemis
Gordon. In 2018, he joined the graduate program at Arts Umbrella, performing repertoire and new creations by Crystal Pite, Lukas Timulak, Amos Bental, Ihsan Rustem, and Jonathan E. Alsberry, to name a few.

In LA she booked performance and choreography jobs including ABC and the Jolin Tsai World Tour, and was a company member of The LA Follies. Most recently she was a dancer in the show Savor After Hours - a cabaret premiering in Napa with Maks and Val from Dancing with the Stars.
Mariah Sterley / San Ramon, California
Mariah started dancing at 3 years old. She studied tap, jazz, modern, ballet, and partner dance. At Central Michigan University, Mariah worked with assisted living programs to provide Dance Movement Therapy. Additionally, she choreographed dance performances, including the production, direction, and choreography for her own show. Mariah is eager to guide
and push her students while they explore their love of dance.
Erica McCormick-Davis / Livermore, California
Erica started dancing at 4 years old and fell in love. She started competing at 7, winning several awards and scholarships in tap and
jazz. Tap quickly emerged as her true passion. A Bay Area native, she has taught and choreographed for her community and local studios for 20+ years and continues to share her love for dance.
Julia Olsen / Livermore, California
Julia has danced at TDA since three years old. Over the last decade, she’s loved getting close with her teammates and growing together as dancers. She’ll never forget the feeling of performing on stage with people I love, and enjoys fun memories from competitions and recitals. She’s excited for what the future will bring as she pursues a degree in psychology at UC Davis!

Livermore, California
Gwen grew up dancing at Tiffany’s Dance Academy and graduated in 2021 from the University of Arizona with a BFA in Dance. Since then she has been pursuing theater, dance, and choreography.
Her shows include RENT and Rocky Horror Picture Show (MMTC), Hello Dolly! (Mountain Play), Elf (Hillbarn), and will be seen in Into The Woods (Mountain Play) and A Chorus Line (SF Playhouse) this summer!

Alexandria Best
Raleigh, North Carolina
Alexandria is a native of Raleigh, North Carolina where she began her pre-professional dance training. During this time, she acquired knowledge from instructors across programs such as American Ballet Theatre, Arts Umbrella, Carolina Ballet, DamianiDance, French Academie of Ballet, and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. She is a 2021 graduate of Pace University where she earned her BFA in dance, with a concentration in performance and pedagogy, and a minor in business.
Immediately following post-grad, Alexandria joined Hubbard Street Dance Chicago as a Company Artist under the direction of Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell. Now going into her fifth season, she has had the opportunity to perform a diverse body of repertoire by many great-minded artists. She is honored to be named a 2023 Princess Grace Foundation Award winner in Dance and to be joining its legacy of artists. Alexandria is thrilled to continue
her time growing her artistry and community with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago in its upcoming season.

Because of TDA, I’ve had the immense pleasures of attending both the San Francisco Ballet School’s and The Juilliard School’s summer intensives. This fall, I’ll be moving to sunny SoCal and attending Chapman University as a Dance major, with hopes of pursuing a double major in Nutrition. TDA will always have my heart and be my home.”

“Hi there! My name is Izzy Stiener, and I’ve been dancing at TDA Livermore for almost 15 years since I was 3 years old. I’m so grateful to have found such a great community in this studio, surrounded by teachers who inspire me and the most amazing friends to grow alongside. As a senior, I’m thankful for all the memories I’ve made dancing and TA’ing here, and they’re not over yet, as I’m excited to officially continue on as TDA’s next competition hip-hop teacher! My future plans include applying to schools like UCLA, USC, Chapman, and CalArts after my gap year, continuing to audition in LA and the Bay Area as both an actor and commercial dancer. Additionally, I hope to one day choreograph and produce my own projects!”

“Hi, my name is Emily, and I’ve been dancing at TDA for 13 years. As a graduating senior, TDA has truly become a second home, helping me grow, learn, and prepare for my future. I am so grateful for all the opportunities I’ve had here. To my friends, thank you for always being by my side—I couldn’t have asked for a better group to dance alongside. As I prepare for my next steps, I can’t wait to take everything I’ve learned to Mercyhurst University, where I will be double majoring in Dance and Pre-Athletic Training.”
Raising the Barre is a youth service non-profit organization bettering our communities through dance. We provides dancers, age 11-19, with the skills and opportunities to make them compassionate, responsible, confident, and strong leaders.
