Shopify Training
We will put some signage in each studio informing people not to leave dancewear that they want to exchange on the desk or in the studio if an admin is not present.
I will also add “Return/Exchange Instructions” in each outgoing package that I ship from now on (starting tomorrow).
Customers may not leave dancewear with Admins or teachers. This is because we will not have a reliable courier system between the studios once Coreen and Halle leave.
We must have a Shopify transaction for every single item that comes into or leaves the warehouse. This is so that we have an accurate count of every item in the warehouse. Without an accurate count, I have no way of reordering items accurately. Think of each item as money. We need to know when each item is coming and going.
If no Admin is present, the customer must call us, email, chat or somehow message a VA (or Alida) that they want to exchange something.
Admin will collect information about what they want to exchange.
In Shopify, the Admin will create a “Return” in Shopify for the items the customer no longer wants. This will generate a Return Shipping Label.
In Shopify, the Admin will “Edit” the order to add the correct sizes to the original order.
The Admin will email the PDF return shipping label to the customer.
The customer will ship the items they are exchanging back to me at my warehouse.
When I receive the items, I will ship out the new items to their shipping address.
