All male and female dancers who will be at least 5 years old by August 1 (no exceptions) may participate in The Nutcracker. A free placement audition (no cuts) will be held on August 28th at the South San Francisco Studio and on August 29th at the Livermore studio. Age groups and times are listed below.
There is a cost to participating in The Nutcracker. The costs include costumes (approximately $60-$90 per dancer), rehearsal tuition if not part of your weekly ballet class (calculated based on our tuition schedule). Typically the rehearsals add between $40 and $50 per month from September through December. Additionally, tickets to The Nutcracker are approximately $15 - $29.

Note: All auditions are held in either Livermore (for East Bay dancers) or South San Francisco (for SSF dancers).
SSF: Friday, August 28, 2009
6–6:30pm: Ages 5-7
7–7:45pm: Ages 8–10
8–9pm: Ages 11+
Tri-Valley: Saturday, August 29, 2009
10-10:30am: Ages 5-7
11-11:45: Ages 8-10
12-1: Ages 11+
