Tiffany’s Dance Academy hosted the Swan Lake Audition on September 18^th at its East Avenue facility in Livermore. More than sixty dancers auditioned for parts in the upcoming performance at the Shrine Event Center in Livermore on January 14th. Dancers ages 5+ who missed the audition are invited to join the cast by calling (925) 447-5299.

Waist, Girth, Hips etc… Costume Measurement Time

The smell of Fall is in the air. Roadside pumpkin patches are cropping up everywhere. All the Twinkle Babies, Stars, Combo, Jazz, Tap, Ballet & Hip-Hop dancers are smartly dressed in their pink, lilac, black & blue leotards. The tap shoes are polished and the pink ballet shoes are curiously getting browner and seem to be shrinking!

It must be time to order costumes for the June recital! Ordering costumes for all the TDA dancers is a major

undertaking. Measurements must be taken on each dancer to ensure the proper fit. We must start this process now in order to ensure accurate delivery of over 1200 costumes this year to each and every dancer.

Imagine ordering something out of the J Crew catalog or GAP online…You know how nerve wracking in can be to guess your own size. Imagine trying to guess the sizes of hundreds and hundreds of dancers…not their current size, but their size 9 months from now. It’s a difficult task requiring lots of organization, patience & determination. Our staff will begin the process of measuring dancers this month. We’ll dedicate a few minutes at the end of a class in October measuring. We’ll write your measurements down on your costume order form and help you decide what size costume to order for the June recital. One word of advice …guess a little big… it is much easier to take off than add to a costume.

TDA Selected by MBA Students – Live Case Study

MBA Students at San Francisco State University selected Tiffany’s Dance Academy as a “Living Case Study” project this semester.

From over forty entries, TDA was chosen as one of the most forward thinking, impressive, and community friendly companies in the entire Bay Area.

The students and their professor are excited about meeting with Tiffany and her staff to learn how, in just four years, TDA has become the largest, most successful dance studio in the East Bay.

They are also tasked with working with Tiffany and her staff to target areas for improvement and growth. Tiffany says, “We hope that our dancers enjoy the improvements to our systems in the very near future!”

it figures! Another Tiffany’s Dance Academy

We didn’t forget to capitalize the title! “it figures!” Is a very special women’s fitness center in Livermore.

The facility, located at 1330 N. Vasco Rd., has a fantastic dance studio available for TDA to run dance classes in.

“it figures!” was opened earlier this year by Kelly Ryan. She says, “It takes only 30 minutes, three times per week to feel like a whole new person! You’ll have more energy to keep up with your busy lifestyle, and feel better
