DANCER DOLLARS Program

A Dancer Dollar is TDA’s way of saying thank you for referring your friends and neighbors to Tiffany’s Dance Academy. To get the program rolling, during the month of OCTOBER ONLY we will award TEN (10) Dancer Dollars for every new student you refer to Tiffany’s Dance Academy. Dancer Dollars may be redeemed dollar for dollar for anything sold at TDA-anytime. For example, tuition, costumes, competition fees, conventions and birthday parties. Referred student must register and pay all applicable registration fees and at least one month’s tuition. Dancer Dollars are maintained in an index file in the TDA office. Check your file and REDEEM your DANCER DOLLARS whenever you want!!!

Tuition – Please note that if your family is not on the automatic-payment plan tuition is due on the first day every month. If tuition is not paid by the 5^th you will be charged a $5 late fee. Please also note that for those who are not on the auto-pay plan and find that paying in person each month is a hassle, you may sign-up for auto-pay at any time.
Studio Holidays and VIP Dates 2002-2003 – This year TDA will not be holding classes on the following dates. If a holiday that a school observers is not listed, please note there WILL be class on that date.

Studio Logo Dance Bags and Jacket Order – We will be placing an order for the dance bags and jackets October 15^th. These items make great holiday and birthday gifts. Please see the office to pre-order your items by October 15^th. In order to keep the price low we must have at least 12 jacket orders to place the order.
Dance Bags –

· Small Black Bag with pink/silver logo and dancer’s name - $26

· Larger Black Bag with pink/silver logo and name - $32

Jackets and Pants –

· Children’s Small-Large - $50 Jacket only, $72 Jacket and Pants,

· Adult Small-Large - $55 Jacket only, $76 Jacket and Pants.

(Jackets are black with pink and silver logo on the back, and embroidered dancer’s name on the front. Please see sample in the front office)

Parent Observation Weeks

– We allow any parent or family member inside the classroom to QUIETLY observe on four occasions this year. You may bring cameras and video cameras at this time. Please make sure to turn cell phones off and keep talking to a minimum, as this is a time for the dancers to showcase their work! Please see the “VIP Dates” calendar above for specific dates. We hope you enjoy seeing your children’s growth and excitement.

Special Holiday Parties

– TDA loves to celebrate the holidays with our dancers. Please see the calendar for when parties will take place. The party usually occurs in the last 15 minutes of the class. Each teacher will celebrate each holiday differently. Please note that, unless otherwise notified, parties will take place in classes of dancers ages 8 and under. It is up to each teacher whether or not to hold “Holiday” parties for any other class. If your child is on a special diet, or may not participate in the celebration please notify the teacher.

Tremaine Dance Convention

– All TDA dancers, not on the performing company, ages 9 and up and enrolled in any level 2 and higher class in invited to join us for the Tremaine Dance Convention. It is a weekend of master classes from well-known, professional teacher/choreographers from the LA area. On Saturday evening the dancers and parents are invited, free admission, to watch the TDA Performing Company participate in the competition portion of the weekend. The convention is held at the Hyatt Regency in San Francisco, November 30-Dec.1^st. The weekend will inspire those who love to dance, and just can’t get enough! Please see Tiffany if you want pricing information, etc. We need to send in registration by October 15^th.

June Concert Date and Venue

– The annual June Concert will be held at the Chabot Community College Theater in Hayward on Sunday, June 22^nd, 2003! There will be 2 shows on this date, a matinee and evening performance. Extensive information regarding the June Concert will be discussed, especially for those who have never done a show with us before, on October 24th @ 7pm at the studio.

Costume Orders

– All faculty has begun to choose music and costumes for the June Concert. All classes will be notified of costume price, etc. by December 21^st, 2002. We will begin the process of measuring dancers the week of December 9^th, 2002. All costume balances will be due no later than January 10^th in order to be placed in the first large order. Those who pay later than that date will receive their costumes later than those in the first order. Please note that the Concert is an OPTIONAL event, you are not obligated to purchase a costume!
