Tiffany’s Dance Academy introduces three new
Hip-Hop teachers to TDA with some free workshops!
Cassandra Stoppel ~ Originally from Fremont, California, Cassandra began dancing at the age of 3 with DanceMakers where she danced until she was 18. For the past 3 years she has been teaching dance and choreographing in Southern California. For over 2 years, Cassandra choreographed and taught at the 8 Count Dance Academy in Los Angeles where she worked with both competitive and recreational students ages 5 to 18. Her international dance career has taken her as far away as Beijing where she performed both live and on Hunan TV. She has performed as a Principal dancer in both the Asian MTV Music Awards and the Latin Grammy’s. Cassandra is excited to return to the Bay Area!
Desiree Dela Pena ~ Desiree earned a degree in Dance from San Francisco State University, where she learned a a variety of dance styles, genres, and techniques. She began teaching and choreographing for her peers at the age of twelve. Since then, Desiree has taught various dance styles to all ages from three years old to adults. She specializes in contemporary modern, ballet, jazz, hip hop and all ballroom and social dance styles. She is also well versed in break dancing, lyrical, capoeira, and tap technique. Desiree has performed with several dance companies; and is currently a member of Mix’d Ingrdnts, an all women hip hop company based out of Oakland, CA. Desiree has worked hard to master her art. She is excited to bring this talent, dedication, and experience to Tiffany’s Dance Academy!
Jadell Lee ~ Jadell holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance with a focus on experimental and unconventional choreography from the University of California, Riverside. He’s trained in Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet, and Modern. Jadell Lee began dancing at the age of 15 with Sacramento Charter High School’s “34th Street Dance Company.” His late start has not held him back. Jadell has served as dance instructor, competition team director, dance coordinator, and marketing director for several academies, studios, and non-profit organizations – including the Bowen Hayes School of The Arts, Riverside Dance Academy, Brooklyn Dance Academy, and LJR Arts Academy. Jadell has worked with industry professionals such as MTV’s “Taking The Stage;” Tyler Nelson and MTV’s “Americas Best Dance Crew” Season 1; Taeko Carroll. He has performed with The Inland Empire Contemporary Ballet, The Inland Dance Theatre, as well as CODA- Company of Dance Artists. He also participated as the assistant choreographer for AMPED Entertainment, a professional entertainment company based in Sacramento, CA. He’s excited to bring his many talents and diversity to Tiffany’s Dance Academy!
