Dad and Daughter Dance “Hero” – sign-ups for all ages in the front lobby. First rehearsal will be on March 2, 2002 at 12:30pm. There is no experience necessary for all dads interested. March 2 – 12:30pm, March 23, 1:30-2:30pm, April 27, 10:30-11:30pm, May 18 – 11:00-12:00pm.
Parent Observation: The next parent observation weeks are as follows: 1) February 11- 16, 2) April 8-13, 2002 3) June 17-22, 2002. Remember to bring video cameras to record recital dances.
Parent Club: Want to get involved? Come to our next Parent Club meeting on ?. All volunteers will get first choice of concert tickets and no waiting in line on Ticket Day!
LA JAZDANZ! Too: Come to the premier of LA JAZDANZ! Too, professional jazz dance company on May 10, 2002 at Amador Theatre in Pleasanton with dancers including, TDA teachers Bruce Biada, Monica Cameron, Laura Sefchovich, and Tiffany Henderson. Tickets go on sale March 1, 2002. Purchase tickets through TDA front office. Don’t miss this great opportunity to expose your child to professional live dance! **All TDA dancers who purchase tickets will be placed in a drawing to win FREE backstage pass before and after performance, admission to private dress rehearsal, and $100 gift certificate for Encore dancewear. **All tickets purchased on behalf of each dancer will be entered under that dancer’s name. For example, Suzie Dancerly’s family buys 5 tickets, 5 tickets will go into the drawing with Suzie’s name. Drawing will take place two weeks prior to the show. -If you are interested in helping with the professional Company or being on our Board of Directors, please come to our next meeting on Feb. 13, 2002 at Pasta’a restaurant next to TDA
Livermore Honey and Wine Festival: May 4-5, 2002. All dances that are performance ready with costumes will be invited to perform at the festival. There will be two shows on each day. Dancers 3-8 will do only one show per day. Dancers 9 and up will do two shows on both days. We will be sponsoring a BIGGER, NICER stage for the dancers to perform on. It should be a great event, and opportunity to showcase the tremendous talent at TDA!

- March 1 – Registration for Summer Session begins for all continuing students. Check the front office or the web for class information
- March 2 – Dad and Daughter Dance Rehearsal 12:30 p.m. East Avenue.
- May 1 – Fall 2002 - 2003 registration begins for all continuing students.
- May 4-5 – Honey and Wine Festival.
- May 18 – TDA Student and Parent Appreciation Picnic. All students, parents and friends are invited. Mark your calendar. The location is yet to be determined.
- June 2 – TDA Performing Company Auditions, ages 5 and up. An informational meeting regarding performing company will be held in May.
- June 1 – Ticket DAY! All tickets for June concert will be sold on this day beginning at 8am. Ticket pricing and information will be given by May 1, 2002.
- June 15 – Picture Day.
- June 20^th – Dress Rehearsal at Chabot Community College in Hayward. All dancers participating in the recital must attend. Detailed information regarding dress rehearsal will be given in “Survival Packet” on Ticket Day.
- June 23^rd – June Concert!
- Studio closed June 24^th – July 14^th. If you’d like to join us on a cruise to the Mexican Riviera June 30^th – July 7^th, see below and call Tiffany.
- June 30^th-July 7^th: 7-Day Group Cruise to the Mexican Riviera aboard Carnival’s Elation-open to any TDA student/family. We have blocked cabins at discounted rates. Call for details.
