Tiffany’s Dance Academy Wins Again!
Livermore, Calif.- August 3, 2001 - Tiffany’s Dance Academy announces today that - for the second year in a row - they were voted the Best Dance Studio in the East Bay by the readers of Bay Area Parent magazine.
Owner, Tiffany Henderson says that she is happy with the award and states that “it feels good to be validated on our philosophy. At Tiffany’s Dance Academy, we believe that learning dance technique is extremely important. We are committed to providing superior, professional training in ballet, tap, jazz and hip-hop. At the same time, we try to create a balanced environment for all of our dancers so they do not burn out. Our dance teachers have had professional dance experience, and they are excellent with the kids because they have all made it to the highest level of their profession. They understand how to develop a dancer without overwhelming them.”
The victory comes at an important time in TDA’s short history. Having only opened in October 2000, they quickly outgrew their 1,000 square foot facility on N. Vasco Rd. Last summer, they relocated to a 3200 square foot facility at 4046 East Avenue in Livermore. Tiffany says, “the move was costly and stressful, but in order to provide the highest quality of dance education we desire, we had to have at least three separate rooms running classes simultaneously.” Tiffany’s Dance Academy offers over 70 classes per week ranging from Mommy and Me (18 months - 2 years) all the way to professional level dance.
