Tiffany’s Dance Academy Kicks off Fall Session at Brand New Studio with Laura Sefchovich on East Avenue in Livermore
Livermore, Calif.- August 3, 2001 - Tiffany’s Dance Academy is proud to announce the start of Fall Session at its newest dance studio in Livermore, CA. The new studio has three dance rooms capable of handling over 80 classes per week. In addition to the new studio, Tiffany Henderson is proud to announce a new Ballet Director, Laura Sefchovich. Sefchovich received her early training at La Escuela Nacional de Danza in Mexico City. She continued her training in California under Elizabeth Neumann, Karen Millar, Gloria Mohr, and Marie Stinnett where she studied Jazz. She also studied with Benjamin Harkavy, Kristine Elliott, the Boston Ballet School, The Royal Academy of Dancing, and The Boston Conservatory of Music Dance and Theatre.
Laura has danced with local companies such as Santa Clara Ballet, Margaret Wingrove Dance Company, and Mark Foehringer Dance Project, and has worked with choreographers Lawrence Pech, Charles Anderson, Bill Evans, and Benjamin Harkavy. Laura recently made her debut with Moving Arts Dance Collective.
She has been on the faculty of The School of Western Ballet since 1996, and joined the faculty of Teen Dance Company in October of 2000. Laura began her teaching career under the direction of Karen Millar and Gloria Mohr at the age of 18, and has been teaching ever since.

Tiffany’s Dance Academy is a dance studio founded in October 2000. TDA emphasizes excellent training in Classical Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical and Hip-Hop. Tiffany Henderson, owner/director graduated from the University of Arizona, Magna cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance in 1998. She has performed professionally with the Arizona Jazz Dance Ensemble at the Kennedy Center, in Washington D.C. She has also performed as far away as Amsterdam, and Japan. TDA’s goal is to provide professional, fun training in all the disciplines of dance. To that end, TDA has only hired the very best teachers. The Ballet School director is Laura Sefchovich of Western Ballet. The Tap Director is Anthony Locascio of “Tap Dog” fame, and the Hip-Hop Director is Kory Watkins of Oakland’s famed KATO group. The combination of excellent instructors, reasonable rates and high-quality facilities located at 1515 North Vasco Road, and 4046 East Avenue in Livermore have led to a very large student base approaching 300 dancers in less than 6 months of operation.
