In my experience being an ex-military amputee, I was a little hesitant at first. Especially being a below the knee amputee and on crutches, but how does any dad say no to their beautiful daughter? So my journey began with Alexandria. It was challenging, but Ms. Tiffany knew my situation and went out of her way to put me in a place where I was comfortable and safe. Not only for myself, but Alexandria just in case I would have fallen, which never happened. Dancing with all these other fathers and daughters was quite amazing and the time and effort that goes into a production like that was a huge commitment for all of us.
The way I could describe this experience with my daughter was like I was on top of the world and felt honored and proud to be doing this with her. It is an experience that neither one of us will ever forget. The community effort of all the dads as they encouraged each other at all the practices and the performance was wonderful. I cannot say enough about how professional Miss Tiffany was with each one of us and how all the girls look up to her and the rest of the dance instructors at Tiffany’s dance Academy.
