About the Studio
Sarah Garske

Sarah Garske Miss Sarah began her dancing career at the Oakland Ballet Academy where she performed in the Nutcracker Ballet at Oakland’s Paramount Theater six years in a row. She continued her study of ballet at Juline School of Dance and soon after studied Jazz at the Academy of Dance both located in Modesto. Sarah also studied Jazz and Lyrical through the Central Catholic High School Dance Team who went to their first competition in Sacramento in 1999 and placed third.

Sarah began working with children when she was fourteen years old as a teacher’s helper at The Renaissance School, a Montessori school in Oakland. She continued there until her sophomore year of college.

At the University of California, Davis, Sarah earned her Bachelor’s degree in English and Communications while continuing her study of dance. Sarah choreographed for several student groups on and off campus including The Aggie Pack Dance Team as well as her sorority, Delta Delta Delta.

For the year of 2006-2007 Sarah taught dance for Kids ‘N Dance in Oakland and Lafayette. Through Kids ‘N Dance Sarah has taught at eight different bay area pre-schools, elementary schools, and recreation centers giving her a wide spectrum of experience. Sarah’s passion for dance and her love of children are evident in her teaching style. She both inspires and nurtures her students.
