Rhonda is a dancer, teacher, choreographer and somatic movement therapist. She is a Certified Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analyst (CLMA), with a Bachelor of Arts in dance from Brigham Young University and a Master of Fine Arts in modern dance from the University of Utah.
She has enjoyed a performing career, which includes a principal role in Fantasy, performed at the Hotel Lotte in Pusan, South Korea, and an ensemble role in Jubilee at the Bally’s Hotel in Las Vegas. She is a founding member of the Bay Area Dance Company and has performed with various university-related dance companies. Her dancing has taken her to England, Denmark, Russia, South Korea, Canada and throughout the United States.
She has extensive experience teaching ballet, modern dance technique, jazz and children’s creative dance. As a former faculty member of Tiffany’s Dance Academy, she taught all age ranges, genres and dance levels from the youngest dancers to those graduating high school. Although Rhonda no longer teaches regularly at Tiffany’s Dance Academy, she often finds herself back in the TDA studios substituting for many of the faculty members. Rhonda lives with her husband and children in Stockton, CA.
