Rhonda Rooker

Rhonda Rooker Rhonda Rooker is a dancer, teacher, and somatic movement therapist. She is a Certified Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analyst (CLMA) and received her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in dance from Brigham Young University. She is currently pursuing her Master of Fine Arts Degree from the Department of Modern Dance at the University of Utah. She has enjoyed her performing career, which includes a principal role in Fantasy, performed at the Hotel Lotte in Pusan, South Korea, an ensemble role in Jubilee at the Bally’s Hotel in Las Vegas. She is a founding member of the Bay Area Dance Company and has performed with various university-related dance companies. Her dancing has taken her to England, Denmark, Russia, South Korea, Canada and throughout the United States. She has extensive experience teaching ballet, modern technique, and jazz, as well as children’s creative dance. She loves to explore the power and expression of movement! Rhonda lives in Stockton, California with her husband of six years and her seven-month-old son.
