About the Studio
Courtney Teas
Ms. Courtney began her training in 1996 at the Magda Aunon School of Ballet. From there she attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts as a high school student where she majored in Ballet. During this time she spent several summers training with the American Ballet Theater as a National Training Scholar. After leaving the University, Ms. Courtney joined the San Francisco Ballet where she danced as a corps de ballet member for 5 years. She is currently completing her BA in Performing Arts at St. Mary’s College. Ms. Courtney describes herself as a patient and kind teacher. She looks forward to the opportunity to share her knowledge and passion of dance with young students.
